Michael J Rivette
Michael Rivette has accrued more than 25 years legal experience, both in general commercial law and as an advocate, and some 18 years experience in business as the owner, director and board member of communications, marketing and media companies.
Michael thus brings to his practice as an advocate a practical knowledge of commerce, protection of intellectual property and all matters relating to media and entertainment.
Michael first signed the Roll of Counsel of the Victorian Bar in 1982 and was for a number of years retained as counsel for the office of the Commonwealth Attorney-General based in Western Australia and responsible for the conduct of major commercial and administrative law trials and Appeals in the federal jurisdiction.
He subsequently signed the Western Australian Roll of Counsel, and remains a member of the Western Australian Bar.
He sits on a number of company boards, including the board of the Women's Cancer Foundation.
